Pete Doherty’s manager held over a hit-run
Updated 13:52pm on 20 Oct 2009The manager of Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian in a coma.

Andy Boyd, 42, who works with the former Libertines star, was questioned by police last week over the 27 September incident, which saw Chris Corder, 42, knocked down by a black Jaguar XJ6 in Hadleigh, Suffolk.
Mr Corder was delivering church magazines for his 77-year-old mother.
He was left lying on the road, suffering head injuries, broken legs, ribs and a broken elbow, shoulder and collarbone.
Mr Corder, who was described by his family as a “kind-hearted” man, was taken by air ambulance to hospital, where he slipped into a coma. He remains in hospital but his condition is believed to have improved. Mr Boyd, who manages Doherty and his band Babyshambles, was questioned by Suffolk Police on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop and perverting the course of justice.
He was bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds police station on 6 November.
