Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall is returning to the London stage with Spooks star Matthew Macfadyen playing her ex-husband, despite an age difference of 18 years.

Stage and screen star: Kim Cattrall

The actors will appear in a new production of Noel Coward's comedy, Private Lives, as Elyot and Amanda, who meet again five years after divorcing when both are on honeymoon with new spouses in the south of France. The spark is rekindled.

Liverpool-born Cattrall, 53, who has been married three times, is best-known as the nymphomaniac Samantha Jones in the American series Sex And The City but has expressed her love of London theatre and appeared in Whose Life is It Anyway?. She also starred in David Mamet's The Cryptogram at the Donmar in 2006.

I guess no details on Matthew MacFadyen is necessary since he's a 'rock star' in London, right? Can anyone over there get this stage play on film? it's going to be HOT!
