Simon has gone DOWN in my books - he has made a very bad decision and he knows exactly what he is doing - gaining more money from all the publicity and is making sure his acts have an easier ride - I'm sooooo angry! There is alot of talented people in the show except the twins!

A friend of one the contestants said that the twins weren't surprised that she had the least amount of votes as she didn't know how to perform anywhere near as well as them and the people boo'ing them were just jealous of their natural talent.

Danyl is a good singer.

However when he performs it's OTT with him flicking the mic from one hand to the other & when he flung that mic stand on the first week!!! Who does he think he is?? Also the public DONT care anymore. To them X Factor is like a game show as opposed to a singing contest. Thats why people are voting for the twins cos they know it cheeses off Simon. In fact I might vote for the twins cos it is worth paying 25p to see the smile wiped fo Simons smug face.

I find Danyl really awful to watch. He may be able to sing the notes but he looks like he's doing an impression of somebody else. He reminds me of Joe Longthorne, a good singer but an impressionist not an original talent like Stacey or Joe!

Poor Simon is falling into the age old trap of believing his own hype. He thinks that he is right every single time on everything pop related, and unfortunately he's not. Danyl is not a great singer and he's not a great performer otherwise the public would love him. It's not that complicated. Add to that that Danyl thinks he's a great singer and performer and there lies the problem. They've forgotten what makes great singers great - the fact that their passion is infectious and believable - everytime Danyl sings you can tell all he's thinking is "aren't I great!"..whereas Robbie Williams and the like and the "Buble" (Michael that is) get lost in the song and it becomes all about making the connection with us the audience and the music. So, Mr Cowell. Take a reality check. Get Mr D to remember it's about us the audience, not him. And you'll be halfway there.

Cowell is a poser,the show is tat and not worth the electricity to watch it.
As for singers only know of one that has a real singing voice rather than the moaning screeching lot and that was that scottish woman who sang real songs with talent.
I reckon most of the others are just hopeful wannabees.

I watch the show every single week and I just love it! I want to say something to Simon: this is a talent show, everyone knows that, but if the show lets public to vote, then you gotta accept the fact that sometimes it is not the most talented person to win. People vote because they like someone, they have emotion connection with him or her. We are not experts in music, sometimes we can't tell great from good. It's more important for a contestant to be likable than talented. Danyl in bottom two was not that surprising to me, it seems like he is the least likable one among all the 10 contestants but i can't tell why.
And Simon why don't you add the judges save to X factor like American Idol did, then you can save the real talented one.

I personally don't care about what press says about contestents. Everybody has their own lives and you see superstars in bad habits and bad shape very often. But for Danyl, bottom line, sing more melody, not just shouting and shouting. I really liked Danyl at the audition and bootcamp. But I've been put off by him as he's been constantly shouting the songs, not singing them. Any great recording artists that are present don't shout songs. Remember his first live show when he was singing the first part of the song with lower voice and more melody? He couldn't sing it well at all. And remember why Whitney told him to sing more melody? She said it for a reason. This is a point Simon Cowell should take for Danyl to be in this compitition longer. Compared to him, Jamie can sing the shouting parts of the song where necessary, and also the melody parts. Lastly, in defendence of Louis, he only talked about Danyl's 'vile' issue once, but then never. And he does like Danyl for whatever reason (I'm not defending him because I'm from Ireland. I'm actually not).

Danyl is way too cocky and he has a mouth like the Grand Canyon when the cameras zoom in...and as for that huge tongue flapping about...ugh! Also why does he have to over-do every song? Just sing the song - he doesn't need to do all the dramatic "hold one note for ages" and strutting around the stage stuff. A little humility (and less close-ups of THAT cavernous mouth) may help him. But although there is no doubt Danyl can sing, it doesn't feel like he has any soul, or indeed "X Factor".

Personally I can't stand the twins but I have the utmost respect for the mature way in which they are taking it on the chin!! Danyl is cocky and Simon was soooo wrong!! Olly was by far the best of the night and if he had said that instead of bigging up Danyl with that awful huge white tongue of his (cameramen should zoom out!!) then perhaps people would not have assumed he would be safe!! My favourite is Stacey, Joe McElderry is a little belter, and I am so glad that Rachel is finally getting the appreciation that she deserves. Jamie did cheat as U2 isn't big band!! having said that he is good though. I think Lloyd needs to shine next week or he will be out soon as everything he sings sounds the same!!

Who cares? Simon cowell has nothing to do with real musicians. The people who win this kind of naff contest will have one "hit" singing a cover of Unchained Melody or some other old classic and then disappear into clubland (if they're lucky) replaced by some other half wit with minimum talent.
Mightmake good telly but Mr Cowell is about as much to do with the real world of music as mobile phone ring tones.

I have not liked Danyl since his first audition, he really irritated me, and as the time has gone on, I really do not like him, he does not ahve the x factor for me. The X factor is not just singing, it is the whole package. He has come across as arrogant throughout.

dog,THE X FACTOR has a long time showed this in the fist place why do
they show acts with no talent and give they air time on prime tv and not
more time to the one with talent , This is possible they know we like to have
a joke at the acts exspence. THE X FACTOR is going the same way as

Simon loaded the basis setting his 2 best male singers against one another and sabotaging one by changing his song at the last minute. To say Cowell didn't know what he was doing just wont float, but his behavior has turned and bit him on the ego, and I hope it hurts! Simon Cowell's behavior,(does he listen to himself?) on this show has really exposed what a small minded and sly hypocrite he actually is! Well at least all the contestants, I hope, have seen though him, and learnt a big lesson. I wouldn't want to shake his hand. I need my fingers!

the general public are invited to vote at their own expense. the contestants in the bottom two are there because they have the least votes. the panel have the chance to send either contestant home. this week they chose not to and it was left to the public. at the end of the day the whole show is about entertaining the public. im sure simon will no doubt have picked a good deal for the future from amongst the contestants. good luck to all

Maybe its the way we vote that is the problem - we vote for the person to win and often that is one vote. It dosent mean we dont like the others with talent, but it may cost them votes.
Danyl definately didnt deserve to be in the bottom two, but in trying to save Jamie I didnt vote for Danyl. I Think it would be better and more fair to vote for the person we think has the least talent.
If we did that maybe the twins would have been out long ago.

The winner of this competition is the one who entertains us most.

They'll get our vote, and they'll be the one's who records we buy year on year. It's not about who's "BEST".

Alexandra Burke is by far a more accomplished singer than Cheryl Cole ....but we like Cheryl more because she entertains us more. Alexandra is far too cocky, by the way... we don't like it. She's good - but got too much of a mouth on her. Reign it in a bit Darling!

Danyl is horrible! What is it you are not seeing about him Simon? Yes, yes, yes....he is the most vocally talented person in the competition. But we DON'T LIKE HIM !! He's too, too cocky. Horrible in fact.

We love vulnerability. Vulnerablity and talent are a precious combination. We ALL LOVE STACY....have you got that? STACY...STACY...STACY !!

Actually your winner......if you can persuade him to get his hair cut....is Jaime Archer. There's your winner.... but GET HIS HAIR CUT !

As for the twins....silly, sillly voting people... we all know they will be in until right until the end because they are what the nation are all talking about. It's what keeps X Factor ahead of Strictly in the ratings .. rubbish as they are, it doesn't matter!

I'm predicting that the twins are going to ride a wave of ironic popularity all the way to the final - they've certainly got my vote. The Great British public was cruelly deprived of the chance to ruin that other bewilderingly vacuous reality show last year, when Jon Sergeant chucked a spanner in the works and pulled out. No such luck for Cowell and the gang - somehow I can't see these feckless little fame-seekers pulling the same stunt!

I don't think I've been this excited since I voted Justin Fashanu for Sports Personality of the Year.

Danyl may have a good voice but I think he is disliked because he comes accross as arrogant and overly emotional. I can't stand his facial gestures when he sings, he acts like he's won the show and seems fake. One week he's crying all the time then the next week full of fake smiles when he gets his feedback from the judges. He's just not personable. I don't like him at all. I much prefer the likes of Joe, Stacey, Lucie, Ollie and Jamie, down to earth a and likeable.

Louis is to blame for all this he only put them thru in the first place cos they're Irish they can't sing they're obnoxious one of them was placed at the back during the group song last week and he pushed another contestant aside so he could be seen better. When good singers are being voted out and embarrasingly pathetic amateurish morons who cant sing a note left in, one has to wonder what on earth this programme is all about! I hate to agree with Simon, but this time he is spot on. The twins ARE awful. And it makes you wonder whether the voting system needs some scrutiny.

I would agree to comments that Danyl is in a difficult situaton. The public seems to be against him because of staements put out against him be Louis and others mistaking his confidence for cockyness. He is such a talented guy who needs to continue being a good singer but to work on his public character. He must learn to look more cheerful and stop gaping like a hippo when he hits hard notes. I also dont know how Cheryl Cole became a Judge on X Factor. She robbed justice when she said Danyl was the one to leave the show. I honsetly think that pervertion of justice qualifies her to leave the show herself.

Has anyone else noticed that as the contest moves on the favoured contestants tend to get the backing of a heavenly chorus sometimes a full gospel choir. It happened in the sing off on Sunday backed by that chorus I might of won. Danyl hardly needed to sing.

I love the irish twins. I love it how they get on everybodys nerves. I also love them as i am irish and their singimg goes wrong at times. everyone says louis only picked them because they are irish, but that is not true. He said he wanted a risk and that risk was John And Edward. I Also love daryl because he used to live in the same town as i live in. i was gob smacked that Daryl got in the bottom two. I hope that either these two win.

This is a singing competition, not a likeability contest. People don't like Danyl because he's good and comes across as confident. He sings and performs like a professional and it is an asset in life to have confidence and self-belief. He is definately the most talented on the show but people always like the under-dog, don't they? Which is a shame because they are costing a very talented young man with lots of potential to lose what could so rightly be his, a career in singing and performing. The show is becoming ridiculous.

I've come to realise that Britain does not like anyone with an ounce of talent, as long as they can moan, and slag people off they are happy. If they had to say that Danyl was perfect, they would probbaly fall over and die. Or I could be wrong maybe it's because he's black and talented. I'm sure they prefer people like Jordan, the Twins and Stacy, who cannot even spell 'talent'.

He needs some good press, Candy Rain said he was quite hurtful to them and said they had no chance, why did he think originally that he was better than them. Each to there own as to the voting, i also think john and edward are awful but they have as many rights as everyone else if they are voted for. I think Danyl is amazing and has a amazing voice. he did not deserve to be in the bottom two this week. I think people are confusing confidents with arrogants, since when was it a bad thing to be confident. He deserves to win and be in this competition much more than the twins, I think the show is making a laughing stock of the twins and it is quite bullying behaviour,

Danyl is the most talented on this show and he really performs but does not smile enough so comes across as less personable because of this. Because this is public vote the public are drawn to personality attributes. He will be liike Lemar and probably not win but end up being very successful. John and Edward are like the John Sergeant of Strictly come dancing, they are very positive, level headed and mature dealing with a lot of negativity incredibly well and this is why they are liked.

I like Danyl, he's one of the best performers, but the thing I hate about him is his big mouth! When he goes for the 'big notes', the camera zooms in for a close up and I have to look away!!! Its not a very pleasant sight, gazing down that cavernous throat. Perhaps if the camera didn't zoom in so close on his tonsils he would get more votes.

I think the reason Danyl came in the last two is because quite frankly he is BORING and BLAND. The two twins did not choose to get through themselves, the British public voted for them, possibly to add entertainment to the otherwise banality of the show. They are teenagers, but have more integrity than Simon Cowell who is an ignoramus, inciting hatred in the audience (a form of discrimination in itself and vile!), Danii who can neither sing nor dance and is there simply because she has a famous and more-talented sister, and the inarticulate Cheryl who didn't sing her own song live and who really can't dance at all, yet proceeded to dress both provocatively and scantily to sell records, something she criticised other artists from doing on the show the week before. The X-factor is NOT a serious show, so don't try to make it into one!

The twins really are an insult to talent and they do need to be voted off before the show loses some real talent. Maybe Louis put them through just to annoy Simon and maybe the public are voting for them to wind Simon up!. Perhaps they would be better suited in Disney World then perhaps they don't like percoeus , cocky talentless kids either.

I don't take to his performances, because even though they have removed some of the OTT gestures, he still comes across as fake. Nothing behind the eyes, very cold. Much prefer some of the genuine talent on there - Lucie, Stacey, Joe and the genuine performing albility of Ollie and Jamie.
