Spicey: Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton
She's the first member of the girl band to star in a West End musical and took over the role of Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell's musical Blood Brothers.

Well what a show.. having just seen the Saturday Matinee performance i was stunned by the intensity. Fantastsic, fantastic, I have seen many London shows but this one tops it for me. Raw, powerful, moving, so enjoyable.
Had me in tears, well done to all of the cast.

I've seen Blood Brothers about 5 times.. or even more and the starring roles have been fabulous. Looking at your reviews, I have now booked a further 3 tickets (taking my 2 sisters along with me!) for wednesday's evening performance. I love the Theatre, but in the 20 years I've been attending, nothing reaches my heart like Blood Brothers.
I'm looking forward to seeing Mel C perform

Lost for words - saw the performance on Saturday 23rd Jan 2010 - all the cast were absolutely brilliant and Mel C's voice, well it was fantastic. All the actors deserve a mention but especially loved the narrator. Sat in second row so could truely appreciate the emotion of the story - would recommend in a heart beat!!! A must see!!!!

It was fantastic, Mel was soooo good, as were all the cast. Made us laugh lots and made me cry. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Highlight of the weekend, thankyou.

This was the first show I had been to and was not disappointed. Mel was excellent in the role (sat in the 3rd row and saw every emotion), as were the whole cast. Would definitely recommend, standing ovation was well-deserved.

I saw the show on Sat 31st oct and was left amazed by the whole cast and of course Mel she gave an amazing peformance and has clearly mastered 'getting into character' as when they took the first bow Mel still looked drained and devestated, however as the audience rose to their feet and they continued to applaude for the cast to take a further 3 bows mel began to smile and it was clear that not only had she enjoyed the show herself but was also relieved and enjoying the positive audience reaction on her first night!

Melanie was great, I am quite truthfully her biggest fan and LOVED the show last night, thought the whole cast was great and cried when she walked on stage.
