Baby on the way for Coles

Premier League footballer Joe Cole, 27, and his wife Carly, 25, are expecting a baby girl in March — and may call her Scarlett.

Coles' goal: Joe and Carly will become parents in March

The Chelsea star's wife of four months, a personal trainer, hopes she and the baby will accompany him to next summer's World Cup in South Africa.

Favouring a natural birth, she said: “I kept putting off doing a test in case I was wrong. I was scared of jinxing everything.”

She added her husband had “wanted us to have a baby from about nine months into our relationship, but I was only 18 … I wanted to live a bit first.”
