Beyonce gig gets Jay-Z all loved-up

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z gave a rare display of public affection as she swept the boards at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night.

The couple are famed for their non-tactile approach with each other, but emotion got the better of both of them on what was a huge night for the Halo singer.

We're not quite sure what got Jay-Z in the mood for love, although those red suspenders would do it for just about anyone.

The pair were spotted all over each other at Felix nightclub in Berlin after the bash.

Our spy said: “They could hardly keep their hands off each other, and everyone started ribbing Jay-Z as he was covered in her lipstick by the end of the night. Not that it looked like he was overly concerned about it.”

Beyoncé scooped the best female, best song for Halo and best video for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).

On stage she said: “There is only one person I want to thank and that is Jay for putting a ring on it.”

Backstage Jay-Z and Beyoncé ignored their usual rule of not being affectionate in public by holding hands and cuddling each other.

Our mole added: “Jay and Bey were really into each other and looked completely loved up.”

We hear she also won another important award — with the prize of the biggest dressing room.

We're told: “Even though Katy Perry was the host, Beyoncé was treated like the star of the show.

She was flown in by private jet from London and had by far the biggest dressing room.”
