John Terry's dad barred from local over 'cocaine deal'
By London Lite Last updated at 13:13pm on 09.11.09The father of Chelsea footballer John Terry has been banned from his local bar after being caught on video allegedly selling cocaine there.
Ted Terry, 55, arranged the deal with an undercover reporter and handed over three grams of the Class A drug in a toilet cubicle at the Unit 4 wine bar near his home in Chafford Hundred, Essex, it is claimed.
The manager of the bar said Ted, a regular, would not be allowed to drink there in future.

He said: “He is banned from coming in. We're yet to hear his version of events, but it doesn't look good.”
A News of the World reporter — posing as a chauffeur looking to arrange the deal on behalf of a businessman — was told the price of three grams would be £120.
Speaking on the video, unemployed Ted said: “This is just between me and you. Don't tell him I'm John Terry's dad.”
It comes after £160,000-a-week Terry's mother, Sue, who is separated from her husband, was cautioned last year for shoplifting.

They both should be ashamed of their respective actions. Their son is in the public eye and the negative pressure put on their son is unforgivable. We cannot chose our parents and the apparent low-life actions of his mother and father must be an embarrassment to him. Well done for John in keeping his head held high and contimuing to do a great job for his club and England.

Talk about being let down by your parents!

It makes a change from blaming the parents for the way their kids turn out.
John has done alright by his own efforts, in-spite of his parents.
Don’t blame the parents, or the kids for bad behaviour; each person is responsible for their own behaviour, so blame the guilty party; not the innocent party etc.
