X Factor Fergie follows in Cheryl Cole's footsteps

Cheryl Cole came to the rescue of Black Eyed Peas last night by lending Fergie a pair of her shoes.

Due to a luggage mix up, Fergie was without footwear to match her outfit for the band's performance on last night's X Factor results show.

To the amusement of Cheryl and Simon, Fergie later said: “Thank you Cheryl Cole for letting me borrow your shoes. She is a size smaller than me so they're a bit of a squeeze”.
The band also performed last night at the Hammersmith Apollo for BBC Switch Live. There were no such wardrobe slips for Leona Lewis, who looked fresh as a daisy after performing on the show last night.
PS. Cheryl has not worn her wedding ring for the second night in a row on the judging panel. Is hubby Ashley set for some ex-factor treatment?
