Shoopers queue round the block for celebrity jumble sale

Thousands beat a path to a charity “jumble sale” at Selfridges to buy stars' cast-offs.

Shoppers queued round the block for bargains including Balenciaga suede boots for £80 from Gwyneth Paltrow, Davina McCall's Dior stilettos for £40, Naomi Campbell's Giorgio Armani dress, Louise Redknapp's Jimmy Choos for £10 and red Reebok trainers signed by Lily Allen.

Organisers estimate that the 45 stallholders, including Lisa B and Gabby Logan, raised £100,000 for Mothers4Children, which helps children's charities.
