Elton John proves he's still standing after illness
Updated 13:20pm on 17 Nov 2009Fans, guests, and a former President, were all delighted to see Sir Elton John, (pictured right with Sharon Stone), back on fighting form in New York.
Sir Elton and David Furnish were hosting their annual benefit dinner, An Enduring Vision, for his AIDs foundation at Cipriani on Wall Street last night.
Guests included Sharon Stone, Bill Clinton (pictured above), Mayor of New York Mike Bloomberg, Daniel Craig and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell, singer Tony Bennett and Courtney Love. Earlier this month, Sir Elton had to cancel concerts, suffering from flu and an E-coli infection. Last night he looked pleased to be back in the spotlight.
