Let's put things into perspective. Alesha has her opinion. You have yours and I have mine.
We are all entitled to express it, regardless of whether people agree with it. The difference is that Alesha and her fellow "celebrities" make comments which go out into the media for all and sundry to condemn.
Racism is a serious issue which should not be trivialised by anyone.

Oh Alesha, Alesha. When will you engage your brain and think about what you are saying?

It's so easy for people to jump on the racist bandwagon, see how Joe has reacted with Kim, with Stuart, with Justin. He's been exactly the same with them as he has been with Sabrina.

Maybe you should think before you speak Alesha, it's easy to chuck labels about.

D.Turner, Torquay, Devon writes "when it comes to not getting their way everybody else is a racist". This is what black folk would consider a racist comment, not necessarily from a racist person. D. Turner your comment is just generalising all that are black in the why it reads, but how ever i accept that Ms Dixon has no authority in calling someone racist just because they express dislike in a person of colour. she needs to be educated on that note. Typical, because someone happens to be lucky enough to be working in television and apparently have some sort of fanbase,(she has been put on Strictly as a judge...the way she talks on that is beyond belief ,what on earth does she know about it really? If she knew anything proper about it she would have trained and had experience about the subject like the rest of the
panel,but no,she is an ex-contestant and sits there like the Queen of Sheba. Why would anyone take any notice, because
she has been there, done that ?? Sorry that does not make you an expert.)
A typical celeb thinking they can do and say whatever they like
and expect everyone to agree with them,pull your neck in from the foreground and start thinking before you open your mouth,
as for the race card,how easy is that,people are having real problems in this world because of that and all she is doing is trivialising it,which is insulting to others.

Alesha Dixon is capable of something so incredible, that no one else in the world can do: she can get inside a man's head and read his thoughts! For that is what she must have done to know why Joe doesn't like her so-called friend (personally, I think the bloke probably just doesn't like her - I am sure lots of people of all colours dislike me on first impact!)

I'm a black guy and I don't agree with Aleshas statement that he's racist. That's a pretty big accusation to make about someone who hasn't actually shown that he's racist.

Some people you just don't take too, therefore it will show in your attitude towards them.

It's worse to see your petulant attide towards the contestants, and lets be honest, if it wasn't for this show where would you be.
Far too much emphasis is put on words spoken by celebs? - celebs, well whip your tits out and you get to be one nowadays. They are children seeking attention by pandering to the insecure masses who need this nanny state to protect them so they can slag people off without getting the correct response -- a clip around the ear or a damn good thrashing.

How about this: maybe Joe Bugner simply does not like Aleisa Dixon for herself, and nothing at all to do with her being a woman or black. I think it is very low and vile of her to play the race card and the sex card in this matter. Doesn't it ever occur to her that someone might dislike her because of the way she acts and behaves?

She is selective about prejudice - re Arelene Phillips, she claimed that ageism affects only young people. She is not really the brightest card in the deck. BBC have made a big mistake hiring her.

BBC put Joe Bugner in place of Alesha on strictly at least he is articulate.

As we are often told, only whites are racist, so Mr Bugner must therefore be guilty.

Just because someone can cook in a kitchen does not necessarily mean the can cook over an open fire.
When I was in the army we used to have an ex Savoy chef on our tank crew but he couldn't get the hang of a petrol cooker.
I agree with all the others, when it comes to not getting their way everybody else is a racist.
A cheap mean trick played by her.
In that thought, is she not the racist for bringing this up and pandering to the black voters.

I agree totally with Alesha Dixon, and for all of u who have commented saying I used to like Alesha "WHO CARES IF U USED TO LIKE HER" she is making her money and u all re probably unattractive earning some average income.... as for Sebrina she is "HOT" nice natural big juicy lips and her chocolate glowing skin which alot of others pay alot of money just to have...as for Joe whatever forget him who cares if he likes her or not I am very sure she's not into that anyway when she can have the best tall dark not tanned and handsome.................

That's the way these days isn't it - if you don't like someone, throw a little bit of innuendo into the mix with some accusations of racism, and to hell with whether it's true or not, as long as you get your own way.

I used to like Alesha Dixon, but not if she's going to make unfounded accusations like that.
