Lady Gaga teams up with Beyonce for outrageous Telephone video
Updated 12:04pm on 12 Mar 2010Lady Gaga has unveiled her most outrageous video yet – a nine-minute epic featuring swearing, nudity and Beyonce.
The controversial Telephone video, which premiered in the United States on Thursday night, features Lady Gaga dressed in a series of bizarre outfits.
Directed by Jonas Akerlund, the actions starts with Lady Gaga in prison before embarking on a murderous road trip with Beyonce – who is called Honey Bee in the video.
At one point Lady Gaga even pokes fun at rumours she is a hermaphrodite, with prison guards stripping her nearly naked and then saying “"I told you she didn't have a d***”.
In another scene Lady Gaga appears wrapped only in police tape that reads 'Crime Scene - Do Not Enter'.
Lady Gaga said: "What I like about it is it's a real true pop event. And when I was younger, I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that's what I wanted this to be."
