Strong: Cheryl Cole is determined to save her marriage to Ashley
The Chelsea and England star was embarrassed on Friday when topless photographs of him were sent to a model last summer from an unregistered pay-as-you-go mobile phone.
He insisted the pictures had been sent by another man after he gave the phone away.
But the latest images and messages were sent to an unnamed blonde secretary in late 2008, while his wife Cheryl Cole was busy working as a judge on The X Factor.
Today's report in The Sun alleges that the unnamed woman was sent "virtually identical" pictures from the same unregistered pay-as-you-go phone nine months earlier.
Cole, 29, is said to have sent messages to the secretary, including one which read: "I beg u keep this between us x." Another allegedly said: "Please delete all texts ill have no balls left."
It comes as a magazine interview with Cheryl Cole, 26, was published today in which she said she her marriage was "worth the fight" following Friday's claims.
She told Hello! magazine: "I've never defended him and I don't want to go into this subject. But my message is still the same. If it's worth fighting for then fight. And in the case of me and my husband, it's worth it. We love each other. Of course, sometimes when things aren't going very well, you've got to work on your relationship. Sometimes one of you makes a mistake, sometimes the other.
"Well, let's not kid ourselves. We're not at primary school any more. Let's just say that during the first 6 to 12 months everything is always great. You're totally in love and everything works by itself. Then, at some point, everyday life takes over again. I think that's normal."
It is not the first scandal to hit the Coles' marriage. In early 2008, Ashley was accused of cheating on Cheryl with hairdresser Aimee Walton.
