Awards show bosses give troubled Amy Winehouse £10,000 after-party budget

Amy Winehouse is set for the "mother of all parties" tonight after Q Awards bosses handed her a £10,000 clubbing budget.

And she has every reason to celebrate after scooping the prize for Best Album with Back To Black, beating Arctic Monkeys, among others, to the coveted gong.

Organisers of the after-party at Piccadilly's Café de Paris nightclub, which will follow this evening's ceremony, are determined to keep notoriously unpredictable Amy and husband Blake Fielder-Civil happy, and have allocated the whopping party fund to avoid any calamities.

"Amy can be difficult and therefore they have to deal with her carefully," revealed a source close to organisers at the club.

"Everyone's worried there will be trouble with Amy and Blake so they want to smooth things beforehand."

Other Q award winners include Manic Street Preachers — with Your Love Is Not Enough named Best Track — and Devon Rockers Muse, who won Best Live Act.

The Arctic Monkeys had to be satisfied with being named Best Band in the World.

Kaiser Chiefs won Best Video for Ruby, while Coventry band The Enemy beat Klaxons, The View, Cherry Ghost and The Pigeon Detectives to take Best New Act.

Kylie was named Q Idol.
