Britney, who discovered 16-year-old's news after she went public with the announcement on the cover of a US magazine, was caught off guard by the news, but vowed to be supportive.
The 26-year-old may not be the best source of parenting advice however.
She has been locked in a bitter custody battle over her sons Sean Preston,2 and Jayden James, 1, after recently losing primary custody to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Casey's uncle, Baptist pastor Odus Jackson, said: "They may or may not [get married]. You just never know."
"I hope they will stick it out and get married for the child's sake and their sake."

Baby news: Britney's 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn is not planning a shotgun wedding to her boyfriend Casey Aldridge, according to a family member
Despite reports Casey could face charges of statutory rape, the Spears parents approve of the teen.
A close source says: "Lynne really likes him, too. He's a good kid, cares a lot about Jamie Lynn. They both adore Casey."
