A source said: "He looked awful when they brought him in. He was ashen. It was just so sad."

Rock bottom: Hasselhoff's drunken episodes have seen him banned from getting on a plane and videoed by his daughter as he scoffed a burger on the floor after a drunken binge
In July 2006 a drunk Hoff was barred from boarding a Heathrow flight.
Then in May this year he was banned briefly from seeing his daughters after a video of him – bare-chested, drunk and trying to cram a burger in his mouth – appeared on the internet.
The America's Got Talent judge said in a statement at the time: "I am a recovering alcoholic.
"Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."
Hasselhoff was awarded temporary full custody of Taylor-Ann and Hayley in May after he reportedly agreed to undergo alcohol testing.
