BB's Chantelle and Nikki holiday in Med (and don't they look like they need it)

It is clearly a much needed break - tantrum-prone Nikki looked painfully thin, while newly single Chantelle struggled to break a smile.

Nikki, in thigh-high denim hot pants and a string bikini top, renewed concern for her health with her protruding bones appearing more pronounced than ever.

She recently revealed that she is unable to have children as a result of her former battle with anorexia.

She told OK! magazine: "I might adopt because I can't have children, because of all the internal damage I've done to myself with the anorexia. I found out about it a while ago and it is a shame. It's inevitable though, with anorexia.

"I'm fine on the outside but there's still internal damage. I'm on tablets and the doctors want me to take oestrogen, but it makes me put on weight and have really bad mood swings."

Meanwhile, Chantelle has been nursing a broken heart since splitting with her husband Preston, whom she first met on Celebrity Big Brother.

The former Paris Hilton announced their relationship was over earlier this year, and the strain showed on her face during unguarded moments.

She has sought comfort in her reality television star pal in recent times.

She was spotted partying with Nikki at London club Funky Buddha earlier this month and days later were also seen indulging in a little retail therapy in London.

Nikki has called on Big Brother producers to consider uniting the pair on screen too.

She told OK! magazine: "I think next summer the producers should do an 'all stars' Big Brother with all the biggest characters from the previous series living under one roof. I'd love that!"
