Beckhams on the P-Diddy

Just days earlier they had missed out on the champagne-fuelled showbiz event of the year.
Which may explain why David and Victoria Beckham went some way to make amends for skipping Sir Elton John's 60th birthday with a raucous night out of their own, 48 hours later.

David and Victoria Beckham: The couple partied P-Diddy style in London with the rapper, and came off slightly worse for wear
Emerging from a late night bar and restaurant in the early hours of the morning, after a heavy night out with the American rapper P Diddy, the couple stumbled into their waiting car, giggling like naughty school children.
Mother-of-three Mrs Beckham, wearing an off-the-shoulder grey t-shirt - and no bra - and black trousers, appeared to be on particularly good form.
Leaving exclusive restaurant Nobu, the couple who have spent little time together, appear glum
After clambering rather inelegantly onto the saloon's back seat, the 32-year-old former Spice Girl collapsed into a fit of giggles before dozily shutting her eyes and sprawling herself around her husband's neck.
Sporting a white Arran knit beanie hat, Beckham, 31, gave a weary half-smile as his apparently tipsy wife slumbered on.

It is little wonder that the pair was exhausted though, after joining their friend, P Diddy - real name Sean Combs - at the American-themed brasserie, Automat, for a late-night tipple.
With concerns still hovering over the subject of her weight, it is not known whether Mrs Beckham opted for the diner's signature dish - a £12, 10 oz hamburger.
P-Diddy partied with David and Victoria after his concert was cancelled disappointing 65,000 fans in London
Given that she had enjoyed dinner at the nearby eatery, Nobu, a few hours earlier - where the couple ordered champagne and shared plates of Japanese sushi, black cod and sashimi - it seems unlikely.
The couple's latest night out - this is the third time in seven months that she has emerged looking a little fragile from the trendy London eatery - came just 48 hours after close friend Sir Elton's lavish New York birthday celebrations.
The Beckhams' noticeable absence prompted speculation that the couple has fallen out with the singer and his partner, David Furnish. There was however, a simpler explanation.
Mrs Beckham was unable to make the festivities because she had already committed to a prearranged photoshoot for the paperback cover of her fashion book, while the footballer, and ex-England captain, was due in Bristol to launch a new soccer website.
