But now chef Rex Newmark has been caught in a steamy clinch with ex-housemate Stephanie McMichael, allegedly spending the night with her after yet another furious row with Nicole.

In pictures published by the Daily Star 24-year-old Rex and Steph, 19, can be seen cavorting on housemate Mohammed's bed at the Kingsway Hall Hotel in central London. The two allegedly got together at Monday night's drunken wrap party for series nine.

In one shot, taken earlier in the night, Steph can be seen clumsily punching Rex. According to witnesses he had enraged her by called her 'publicity mad'.

But after Rex rowed with Nicole, who then left the trendy Sway nightclub, Rex and Steph got closer.

They returned to Mo's room accompanied by the 24-year-old and Jennifer Clark, 22.

A friend of Steph's reportedly told the tabloid: 'Rex woke up with Steph yesterday after spending the night with her. He didn't want to be with Nicole after they had another row.

'After being locked up in the house for so long he wanted to let his hair down. Everyone was really enjoying themselves and carried on drinking back at the hotel after the wrap party ended.

'Rex and Steph were getting along like a house on fire and the sexual tension was there to see. Steph's boasted that she kisses and fumbled with Rex but they definitely didn't have sex.'
