'B-list' Diddy refused a table at St Tropez club

He may be a millionaire rapper famous throughout the world but it seems even Diddy isn't always good enough for rich man's playground St Tropez.
The hip hop mogul was refused a table at famous celebrity hangout Les Caves - and was described as a "B-list" star by unimpressed club bosses.
No one at the venue in the South of France even acknowledged the Grammy award winner, who hopefully stopped short of saying "Don't you know who I am?".
St Tropez has long been a favourite getaway for Diddy, real name Sean Combs.
The 37-year-old has acquired a lavish reputation in the resort, renowned as a haunt of the rich and famous. In 2003, the big-spender holidayed there with a huge full-time entourage, which included a butler called Fonzworth Bentley who followed Diddy around with a parasol.
His parties on yachts and in nightclubs in St tropez are legendary and he is used to being the one who turns down celebrities desperate to get on the guest list.
He was also famously photographed there wearing a bathrobe while cruising on a jet ski.
But Diddy's British publicist said: "We have spoken to him and it is completely untrue. He just went in briefly to say hi to a friend. He never intended to stay."
Father-of-three Diddy, formerly P-Diddy and Puff Daddy, is one of the most successful artists, producers and record executives in hip hop.
He shot to worldwide fame in 1997 with I'll Be Missing You, which he performed at the Concert For Diana event earlier this month at Wembley Stadium.
