Panto regular Davro, 50, smiled and laughed throughout his routine but was outshone technically in the skate off by actor Gary Lucy.
After being told he was leaving the ITV1 show, Davro said: "Obviously, I'm disappointed. You've got to be the best skater to win this show. I tried my best."
Exit: Comedian Bobby Davro was voted off
The second live show in the new series of Dancing on Ice saw the seven male celebrities attempt to impress the judges.
The female celebrities tested the ice last week, with singer Sinitta, 41, the first contestant to leave the programme.
Lucy, wearing a lime green sparkly vest and black trousers, was first to re-enter the rink after being told he was in the bottom two.
The 28-year-old actor, who has starred in Footballers' Wives, Hollyoaks and The Bill gave a confident performance to Free's All Right Now with his skating partner Maria Filippov.
After his skate, he said he had enjoyed it more the second time around and joked: "I'll have a go at my mates for not voting, they are probably all down the pub."
Earlier judge Jason Gardiner had branded Lucy's performance "incredibly polite" but "dull".
Davro, who wore a dark blue sparkly suit and matching mid blue shirt, was second up in front of the judging panel.
At times he appeared unsteady on his feet while skating with partner Molly Moenkhoff to I've Got My Mind Set On You by Beatle George Harrison.
After his skate, he joked: "It's all about the journey. If mine ends now, fortunately I didn't end up in an ambulance."
Earlier judge Nicky Slater said his "skating skills need development".
Following both performances, the five strong judging panel unanimously opted to save Lucy.
New judge Emma Bunton said: "Bobby, you've made me laugh, but this is Dancing on Ice not Comedy on Ice."
Slater added he would "miss having a great entertainer on the show".
Davro was cheered by audience members and his trainers former Olympic ice dance champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean during his lap of honour.
