Brian Friedman: Jedward 'to blame for the X-it of real talent'

The X Factor's Brian Friedman has laid into John and Edward again — this time saying they're getting the show's genuine talents booted out.

The terrible two: John and Edward at last night's Christmas Carol premiere

At last night's film premiere of A Christmas Carol in Leicester Square, the choreographer was asked if he thought the twins were taking more deserving contestants' places.

Brian, 32, replied: "Yes, but the thing is the public are voting for them. It's going to show in the weeks to come if they do a ballad. Then the public will decide if they should stay."

Last week he told the London Lite the Irish pair needed medication as they are so "crazy" to work with. But even Mayor Boris Johnson has heard of John and Edward.

He said at the Oxford Street Christmas lights switch-on last night he knew them, but "only out of the furthest corner of my eye". He added: "I'm no expert, but I know there's someone called Jedward."
