Britney gets a new look - and so does her man

Another day, another hairstyle for troubled pop star Britney Spears.

She opted for almost dreaded locks during a shopping spree with her new mystery man, who has barely left her side in recent times.

She's not the only one to get a new look - it turns out her constant companion once sported a rather bushy Village People style moustache.

Britney's no pushover, according to her t-shirt

He was present during Britney's now notorious incident in which she almost dropped her son Sean Preston in May 2006, but has since undergone a rather impressive makeover.

His exact role in Britney's life still remains unclear - he's her bodyguard, driver, sometime date - the pair shared dinner and a show last week - and he even plays babysitter.

Now and then: Britney's man - then sporting an impressive moustache - was present during the now notorious incident where she almost dropped her son Sean Preston last year

He was spotted holding her eldest son Sean Preston on their way to church over the weekend, while Britney took care of tiny Jayden James.

He later stayed by Britney's side as she spent some time playing with her children in a sandpit.

One person who has not been bonding with the toddlers - Britney's estranged mother Lynne Spears.

At last, Britney spends some time with her children

Oh baby, baby: Britney and her new companion take her brood to church

According to one source, Lynne "is brokenhearted. She wants her baby to be okay and to bring her grandkids home to Kentwood and raise them in a normal environment."

Last month, Britney personally delivered papers to her mother which reportedly stated that Lynne stay away from her sons if she is taking medications that might cause her to be impaired.

Britney later said: "I'm praying for her right now. [I hope] she gets all the help she needs."
