Britney Spears was spotted by traffic police speeding on her way to Las Vegas and so an LA cop quickly accelerated up behind her in the fast lane and put on his lights.

Britney gets pulled over

According to reports, Britney just casually continued on her way and it took her almost one mile to finally leave the motorway where she was finally pulled over.

After getting a quick telling off from the female officer Britney pleaded innocence and complained that the paparazzi were chasing her.

It was Britney's lucky day and she got away with just a warning, leading one of the officers to comment, 'it pays to be a popstar'.
