Britney sends an explicit message to her mystery 'lover boy'
16 October 2007
The pop star was spotted in her car yesterday wearing a navy jacket with the words 'F*** Off Lover Boy' emblazoned across the front.

Message: the slogan on Britney's jumper made it clear she's no longer a hopeless romantic
It's not clear exactly who it was intended for – perhaps her estranged ex husband Kevin Federline, with whom she is currently locked in a bitter custody battle over their sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Or it may have been directed at a more recent flame – the mother of two has been linked to a string of men since her divorce, including magician Criss Angel, former bodyguard Daimon Shippen, model Isaac Cohen and music producer J.R. Rotem.

Coffee run: Britney left the jacket behind as she dashed into her favourite haunt Starbucks
Britney made her usual appearances around Los Angeles, stopping off at a gas station where she posed for paparazzi and then Starbucks for her daily caffeine fix with a friend.
A daily earlier, Britney turned herself in to police for driving offences.
The 25-year-old had dressed soberly, with her dark hair worn loose, to attend the Los Angeles jail at 9pm, where she was photographed and fingerprinted.

In the pink: Britney turned herself into police to be photographed and fingerprinted in connection to two minor driving offences
Once that was out of the way, she pulled on a hot pink wig to drive around the city, stopping to pose for photographers.
Spears was formally arrested for a hit-and-run and driving without a licence. LAPD officer Mike Lopez said: "She was co-operative during the arrest and was not handcuffed.
"She went to the Van Nuys jail to turn herself in for a court-ordered booking, which is normal practice for any misdemeanour.

Hair raising: despite her encounter with the law, Britney appeared in very high spirits
"She was in for 20 to 25 minutes, fingerprinted and photographed and then she was released after completing the necessary paperwork."
The charges stem from a collision on 6 August, when cameramen filmed the singer crashing her Mercedes into a parked people-carrier as she tried to turn into a parking bay near a pharmacy.
The film showed her walking-away after inspecting the damage to her own vehicle.
It was later discovered that she did not have a California driving licence, she was not wearing a seatbelt and had been clutching her Yorkshire terrier puppy, London, while driving.
