The Russian model, who had a boyfriend when she entered the house, told the musician, real name Jonas Altberg, that she would regret having a fling on the show.
She said: "I was thinking we need to stop this thing because it's not worth it in the end, and we're more friends anyway.
Ending it: Katia Ivanova said she would regret having a fling with Basshunter on the show
"Before it gets out of hand. I know I'll regret it because I really care about someone, and it's not worth it."
The 21-year-old, who has repeatedly passed wind in the house, yesterday said Altberg travelled too much for them to have a relationship, and went on: "If someone else walked in now and they farted a lot you'd probably be the same."
Altberg gave only monosyllabic replies but insisted it was "cool".
The housemates were looking forward to a meal of burger and chips planned by ex-footballer Vinnie Jones, but misery swiftly followed when Big Brother confiscated their food.
Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss, glamour model Nicola Tappenden and actor Stephen Baldwin had all been talking about nominations which meant everyone was punished.
Altberg and cagefighter Alex Reid kept their spirits up by stripping off and frolicking in the garden.
The Swede seemed keen to show Ivanova what she was missing by then sitting around in just a towel.
Fleiss, British rapper Lady Sovereign and Ivanova will all face the public eviction vote this week.
New housemate Ivana Trump - Donald Trump's millionaire ex-wife - who entered the house on Friday, was not eligible to nominate anyone, or be nominated.
Fleiss, who served 21 months in jail for tax evasion in relation to running a prostitution ring, has made no secret of her desire to leave the house.
She told Big Brother in the Diary Room that she did not feel comfortable, saying: "I think I'm ready to go home. I don't like the showering, I want my food, I want my things. I guess I'm not that tough."
