Celebrity housemates lose Countdown quiz show challenge

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Vinnie Jones issued joking threats to reigning Countdown champion Chris Davies after the housemates lost a game of the quiz show to the charity shop volunteer.

In a live link-up with the Countdown studio, Jones told host Jeff Stelling: "We've just found out Chris's address so don't worry. And we want a random drugs test."

Stelling replied: "Apparently he does martial arts."

Conundrum: Vinnie Jones and Stephen Baldwin

Stephen Baldwin said: "Let's put him against Alex Reid."

Countdown player Mr Davies asked who Alex Reid was and Stelling informed him he was a cage fighter.

Jones added: "And I've got a black belt in origami."

The housemates have had to dress up as old age pensioners as part of their latest task from Big Brother, which has seen the house converted into the Last Legs retirement home, with Stephanie Beacham and Ivana Trump - who are actually of pensionable age - donning matching uniforms to act as their carers.

Jones, Baldwin, Reid, Dane Bowers and Heidi Fleiss formed the Last Legs team to take part in the live Countdown challenge but lost by a mile to 2009 champion Davies.

The Countdown Conundrum was "Housemate", which Davies spotted in a second.

Jones said: "We don't want Chris to feel guilty but that's our dinner gone."

Bowers added: "Yeah, do you like rice and lentils? Do you?"

The housemates passed their Variety Show task on Friday, winning food supplies for the week, but had them confiscated again as punishment for Fleiss and Nicola Tappenden discussing nominations.

As part of their latest task they may only eat liquidised food, prepared for them by care assistants Trump and Beacham.

They breakfasted on pureed egg, bacon and black pudding served in plastic trays and the carers are currently preparing a lunch of tomato and corned beef sandwiches, in the liquidiser.
