Amanda Holden missed by fellow BGT Alesha Dixon

Alesha Dixon said she has "missed" fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden who has been in hospital since the birth of her child.

Holden, 40, pulled out of the show's auditions in Blackpool and Cardiff after giving birth to her baby girl on Monday and spent three days in a critical condition.

The actress is now stable after being treated in an intensive care unit but is expected to take a while to recover.

Dixon, who has been attending the auditions with fellow judges David Walliams and Simon Cowell, admitted she "can't wait" for Holden's return.

"I've sent her a message of support and I wish her a speedy recovery," she said during an interview for the show's website, itv.com/talent.

"I love Amanda to bits - I'm missing my partner in crime and can't wait for her to come back."
Holden's spokeswoman said that she is "out of danger" but is still recovering in hospital.

She said: "She is stable and is in a period of recovery.

"She is out of danger and we expect her to get stronger each day."

Her new daughter, Hollie Rose Hughes who weighed in at just over 6lbs, is said to be healthy.
