Amy Childs tipped for return to TOWIE

Amy Childs is set to make a shock return to The Only Way Is Essex.

After the 21-year-old Channel 5 reality show It's All About Amy was axed after just one series, she is said to be keen to make a comeback on the ITV2 series that made her famous.

A source told The Sun: "Amy would love to rejoin. She desperately misses 'TOWIE'. She was always one of the big stars so it makes sense for her to go back.

"Her show was a complete flop on Channel 5 and no one seemed to care so her profile was knocked."

The redhead has previously slammed TOWIE for being fake, and suggested some of her former co-stars - including the likes of Lauren Goodger, Lydia Bright and Joey Essex - are envious of her success in landing her own reality show after quitting the ITV2 series.

Amy recently said: "I think some people have been getting a bit funny. I don't know if they're jel, but I can imagine some will say I've made the wrong decision. I would never knock the show because it's what made me, but I think it used to be much more natural.

"Some of the scenes now are like something straight out of Hollyoaks."
