Tulisa set to star in film

Tulisa Contostavlos has been asked by Idris Elba to star in a film with him.

The N-Dubz singer made her acting debut in horror movie Demons Never Die last year and has impressed the 39-year-old actor so much he has offered her a role in his new movie Swift.

The film focuses on a struggling sports agent who is seeking redemption and Tulisa has been singled out as being being perfect for a part.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "She starred in Demons Never Die last year and Idris thinks she fits the bill for a part in his project. Tulisa's agent is trying to see if she can fit filming into her schedule."

Tulisa has been busy the last few days hanging out in Los Angeles with rapper-and-producer The-Dream on a working vacation.

Idris' career continues to go from strength-to-strength.

He recently finished shooting Alien prequel Prometheus and is now working on Guillermo Del Toro's new monster movie Pacific Rim.

Idris has also signed up for the second Thor movie.
