Chanelle gives Ziggy the boot after he says they are not engaged

Chanelle Hayes allegedly told Ziggy Lichman their seven-month relationship was over after he told a magazine they were not engaged.

Ziggy told Star magazine: "We're not engaged right now. She isn't my fiancee yet. I won't pop the question until we've been together a year.

"I'm just going to see how the next six months pan out because that's the most crucial time. It's make or break.

"When the fuss dies down, that's when you see what a relationship is really like."

Chanelle has been seen shopping without an engagement ring, apparently having told friends she had given Ziggy the push.

Today she is expected to travel back to Yorkshire to celebrate her 20th birthday this weekend.

Ziggy's friends have said they are relieved the relationship is over.

One friend told the Daily Star: "Chanelle is a nice girl but she's far too young for Ziggy, and frankly, too much of a handful.

"The constant arguing put a real strain on their relationship. Ziggy has been trying to do the right thing but basically has had enough.

"She loves the showbiz lifestyle but he's just as happy to be down the pub with us.

"They obviously turned to each other for support in the house but the truth is they couldn't be more different."
