Chelsea star Ballack and his WAG lap up the sun on their honeymoon

Married life clearly suits the newlyweds as they were all smiles while soaking up the sun on the island of Formentera, part of the Balearic Islands.

Initially sporting a skimpy floral-printed bikini, Lambe, 30, looked a picture of health as she treaded the shallow end of the sea before retreating back to the shore to dry off and top the tan.

However in keeping with a WAG's extensive wardrobe, Lambe later swapped swimwear to board a private yacht.

This time she opted for a fashionable swimsuit with cut-out waist and halter neck.

A toned Ballack, 31, also ventured into the water without an apparent care in the world - the recent Euro 2008 campaign no doubt  a distant memory for the captain of the German national team.

The couple married earlier this month in the Knight’s hall of the Bavarian Palace Kempfenhausen.

Lambe looked stunning in a white feathered gown, studded with crystals. Her groom looked suitably attired in a grey silk three-piece suit and a cornflower blue tie.

They have been together for ten years. She was working as a waitress when she met Ballack in East Germany.

They have three children, Louis, 6, Emilio, 5 and Jordi, 3.
