Cheryl takes Ashley back, but 'she hates it when he touches her'

Trying again: Cheryl Cole, pictured in London over the weekend, is finding it impossible to be intimate with husband Ashley Cole
Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has forgiven her unfaithful husband Ashley, but sources say she is finding it impossible to forget his cheating ways.

The singer moved back into their Surrey mansion over a week ago to give Ashley a second chance, but the relationship remains on very rocky ground following claims he cheated on her with blonde hairdresser Aimee Walton, 22.

Friends say Cheryl is "still in love with Ashley" and is determined to get her marriage back on track, but she she is struggling to be intimate with him again.

A source was quoted in Heat magazine as saying: "Cheryl is so upset by what's happened and she has found it very difficult when Ashley touches her. She told the girls while they were abroad that she was not looking forward to their first sexual encounter.

"She hates it when Ashley touches her. She said it made her feel sick, knowing her husband had been with someone else. He makes her skin crawl."

She is reportedly imposing a ban on sex for next six months as a "test," which the Chelsea defender has agreed to in a bid to win her back.

The source continued: "She still has problems with intimacy and now Ashley has to prove how sorry he really is."

Cheryl, who has still not taken to wearing her wedding ring again, is hoping to rebuild their marriage away from the public's glare.

"She doesn't want to look like a fool by going back, but behind closed doors things are tough for her."

"She wants people to know she is giving him a really hard time."

Meanwhile, Girls Aloud band mate Nicola Roberts, who consoled Cheryl during a getaway to Thailand last month, has praised Cheryl's strength.

She told OK! magazine: "She's strong, positive and a good listener."
