Coleen Rooney flashes her £250,000 rock as she goes back to work

Her huge ring is a reminder of the fabulous summer the new Mrs Rooney has enjoyed starting with her £5million wedding and ending with a series of holidays in far flung locations including showy Las Vegas.

As the 22-year-old stepped out in London the begin filming for the new series of her ITV2 show Coleen's Real Women, her diamond encrusted wedding ring - estimated to be worth £250,000 - went with her.

A serious-looking Coleen certainly looked focused as she arrived for filming wearing a striped blouse, leather jacket and jeans.

Her dressed down look a far cry from the golden couple's lavish look for their big day.

Wayne and Coleen sealed their marriage with the footballer's wedding of the year.

No expense was spared as family and friends were flown to Portofino, Italy by private jet for the young couple's highly-anticipated nuptials.

Coleen designed the diamond-encrusted ring herself and the couple's initials are carved into the inside.

The bespoke rings are from exclusive New York jewellers to the stars Jacob & Co. Coleen is a fan of the celebrity jeweller, and already owns one of his watches and £30,000 diamond-encrusted bracelet.

The stunning ring joined her £200,000 ten-carat diamond from Chopard - a 21st birthday present from Wayne - which she wears on her engagement finger.

But now even that looks somewhat dull beside the marital bling now resident on her hand.

Meanwhile, supermarket giants Asda have dropped Coleen from its adverts in favour of, ironically, real women.

Coleen who herself champions using real women in advertising campaigns on her ITV2 show, has been replaced by three hospital workers as the faces of Asda's clothing label George.

The store hired Dr Ifeoma Ikwueke and nurses Leigh Currie and Fiona Kiek after a poll revealed shoppers were not impressed by celebrities promoting its outfits and preferred 'real people'.

Customers said they respected the medical profession more than any other so when Coleen's £3million contract came to an end bosses signed up the medical trio.

But don't feel too sorry for the WAG. At last count she has earned around £8million from her Asda contract, her own perfume range and TV work. And her annual salary varies from £500,000 to £1million.
