Corrie's Ken and Roy come a cropper as the cops wade in

This is the dramatic moment that mild-mannered Ken Barlow and Roy Cropper are hauled off by the police in Coronation Street.

The pair are nicked in a storyline shot today which sees them handing over a brown package in return for money.

William Roache, who plays teacher Ken and the nervy Roy Cropper, who is played by David Neilson are more known in the soap for their dull and rather staid personas.

But with such dodgy dealings up their sleeves it’s no wonder they’ve found themselves on the wrong side of the law.
