Victoria Beckham is planning to make a guest appearance on Ugly Betty, the TV series set in the glossy world of fashion magazines.
After a critical mauling for her socalled reality show on arriving in Los Angeles, Mrs Beckham will no doubt be hoping for kinder reviews in this role, although it is thought she will still be playing herself.
The 33-year-old Spice Girl is to be paid £70,000 for an episode to be filmed in September.

Guest role: Victoria (above with David) is set to appear in popular TV series 'Ugly Betty'. Producers are keeping tight-lipped about the episode but have revealed it will involve a wedding dress
Producers of the show are keeping the storyline secret. All that's known is that it involves a wedding dress.
Becky Newton, who plays devious binge-eating receptionist Amanda, can see her character clashing with the guest star.
"Amanda is going to be like, 'I'm not standing next to Posh because she's too skinny. She's gonna make me look fat'. Amanda's gonna take her down," she said.

America Ferrera as Betty
Producer Marco Pennette joked that David Beckham had to come along for the filming.
"We want her husband on set. It's one of the requirements," she said.
Mrs Beckham met Eric Mabius, who plays magazine editor Daniel Meade, at an awards ceremony in London.
He said she would be perfect for a walk-on role.
The show, which has been franchised around the world, stars America Ferrera as Betty, along with British actress Ashley Jensen as seamstress Christina McKinney.
