The Hole frontwoman who is said to have slimmed herself to a size zero, seems proud of her svelte figure and doesn't miss the opportunity to show it off in all its glory.

The Hole frontwoman unveiled a dramatically slimmed down body on the beaches of Maui this week and is crediting her 44-pound-and-counting weight loss on a more positive outlook overall.

We've yet to be inundated with the particular weight-loss programme the former wife of dead rocker Kurt Cobain chose to shed the excess pounds, but watch this space for the imminent book and dvd launch.

As well as the new figure, Courtney looks as if she has had some work done on her face, as her lips looked more prominent than usual as she worked on her tan.

However, as a version of the popular saying goes, what stands up, must sit down, and here's where the wisdom of losing weight slowly and sensibly holds true.

As Courtney sits on the edge of the swimming pool, her skin collapses in loose folds around her waist area. Not such a good look, but one many women can relate to.
