Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is buying himself a Fiat Punto for his 18th birthday next month - despite being able to access his £23 million fortune that day.
As the richest kid in Britain, he could conjure himself a Rolls-Royce or a flash Lamborghini, but the actor has already been into a garage to check out the rather non-celeb car.

Daniel Radcliffe, left, andhis dream car... a Fiat Punto
A pal tells us: "Daniel is very excited about coming into his fortune on 23 July but he's not going to become flash all of a sudden and go on a mad spending spree. He is quite a sensible lad and has been planning for this day for a while.
"The first thing he wants to buy himself to celebrate his 18th birthday is a car. He's done a bit of research and really likes the Fiat Grande Punto. Daniel is concerned about the environment and this car has been voted one of the top five green cars in Britain."

Radcliffe, who made millions in his role as Harry Potter, plans to keep his mode of transport low key
We're told top Fiat hotshots are already doing their magic and making moves to provide the actor with his perfect spec for a green Punto.
He has been to one of the Very People Punto parties and has spoken to bosses about what he is looking for in his dream car.
If he wants to pimp his ride, Dan could go for the sporty look and get the Need For Speed kit, which includes a rear spoiler, 17in alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel and chrome exhaust.
But we are told he wants to keep his motor quite low-key.
His pal tells us Daniel likes the fact that he will be able to nip around London in his new motor without being recognised.
We're told: "When a big, flash sports car whizzes past, people always assume it's someone rich or famous inside. It draws a lot of attention to you and Daniel didn't want this. He wants to be able to travel around the city unnoticed."
Daniel shot to fame as the boy wizard in the film adaptations of JK Rowling's enormously successful Harry Potter books.
The film franchise earned Daniel a fortune, which has been kept in trust until his 18th birthday.
All we want to know now is, where's the birthday bash, Dan?
