David Beckham's own tour de France
06 July 2007
The bleach blonde football star threw caution to the wind, taking to the road for an afternoon of cycling without a helmet.
But Beckham, who is clearly getting into the spirit ahead of the official Tour De France this weekend, later thought better of it and made a pit stop to collect a stack hat.

During the outing, he showed off his growing beard, which could well be a silent protest: his deal with razor brand Gillette reportedly ended this week after he refused to renew the deal for £3 million.
Meanwhile, he just signed a deal to record a television diary about his life with LA Galaxy, according to a report in The Sun.
The show's producer, Bob Massie, told the paper: "David's arrival has taken US Major League Soccer to an international footing."
It's a case of his and hers programming - his wife Posh recently wrapped filming on her reality show, titled Victoria Beckham: Coming To America, which charts her move to the US.
She has also just signed up for a cameo role in American comedy Ugly Betty, and she is being paid a cool £70,000 for the appearance.
