"Early days": Declan Donnelly and Georgie Thompson

The 33-year-old Saturday night Takeaway star has been on a string of dates with the 31-year-old from essex.

Thompson, who lives in chelsea, and Donnelly, of chiswick, are reportedly growing close after being introduced by a mutual television friend.

Donnelly, who also presents I'm a celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and is said to be worth £6m, has been one of Britain's most eligible bachelors after his 10-year relationship with Dancing On Ice star clare Buckfield ended in 2003. The couple said they ended their romance because of the pressure of their workloads.

Donnelly's friend and TV partner, ant McPartlin, 33, is married to make-up artist lisa armstrong, who is 32.

Donnelly's agent said: "It's early days."
