'Devastated' Jade Goody suffers miscarriage

The mother-of-two was just under 12 weeks pregnant when she lost the child she was expecting with 19-year-old boyfriend Jack Tweed.

A source told The Sun: "She was taken to hospital and told there was nothing the doctors could do. It was very early days still."

"Now she is absolutely devastated. The pregnancy came as a surprise, though she and Jack were looking forward to the baby after a very tough few months.

Jade, who already has two sons Bobby, four, and Freddy, two, by her ex Jeff Brazier, was ecstatic earlier this year when she discovered she and Jack were going to be parents.

She said at the time: "I'm thrilled. Jack is over the moon too, but it has come as a bit of a shock. We are still telling friends and family."

It was the latest in a string of blows for Jade, 26, who has seen her career disintegrate following the Big Brother racism row.

Jade managed to put on a brave face this week when she passed her driving test and went to court to see a former childminder convicted of stealing £12,000 from her.

The couple, who have just bought a £1million house near Stansted, Essex have had a tempestuous relationship, but have now been together two years.

Earlier this month Jade was forced to flee a hotel at 4am as boyfriend Jack wrecked their room during a drunken rampage, running up a £3,000 bill.

She passed her driving test this week in King's Lynn, Norfolk — although she has to face charges of allegedly driving without a full licence and insurance.

And she was in court this week to see childminder Luke Rustem, 29, plead guilty to stealing nine cheques.

After the case at Chelmsford Crown Court, Essex, she branded Rustem "a scumbag".
