Double take: Model Agyness Deyn steps out with a lookalike friend

Model of the moment Agyness and the television and radio presenter turned heads with their matching looks as they strolled through North London together.

Grimshaw, who also enjoys being seen with the likes of Sadie Frost and Peaches and Pixie Geldof, unashamedly copied the star's unique look, from the scruffy bleach blond hair, 80s shades, open-collared shirt, shorts and shoes.

Agness is of course, not just a leading trendsetter in her circle of friends - she's just been signed up as the face of Jean Paul Gaultier's fragrance Ma Dame, the designer's first in 15 years.

The Rochdale star was hand-picked for the campaign after Gaultier saw her opening his retrospective 30th anniversary show in 2006.

He says: 'She was ballerina and biker, so feminine and masculine.'

'It was a mix of my sensibility, and I knew she was completely the one to represent it.'

'It's my type of woman - at the same time fragile and strong, like a tomboy that is a little androgynous in attitude so, you know, she can cut her hair if she wants.'

Meanwhile, the model has split from her boyfriend of four years, The Paddingtons guitarist Josh Hubbard, according to reports.

Agyness’ hectic work schedule is said to have sparked a series of rows between the pair.

A source told the Mirror: 'This has come as a real blow for Agyness - she’s really upset. However, they have had rows and split before - then got back together again.

'Their friends are hoping this will just be a temporary split and that they’ll eventually work through their problems.'
