Split: Rachel Sidwell and Steve McFadden
Dr Rachel Sidwell, 42, allegedly damaged a moped parked on the driveway at the actor's £750,000 Highgate house, and pounded on the front door as she yelled abuse.
McFadden, 50, who plays hardman Phil Mitchell in the BBC soap, was said to be out at the time of the alleged incident last Thursday but his son Matt, 23, called 999.
But when police arrived at McFadden's home no one was at the secne. They contacted Dr Sidwell, a mother of four, the next day and asked her to attend Hornsey police station where she was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to the moped and bailed to return on a date in November.
The GP had three-month-old Amelie Tinkerbell with McFadden after meeting him on the school run. She had moved into the actor's home after leaving her surgeon husband but split with McFadden three weeks ago after claiming "he can't be trusted". She is now back living with husband Dr James Green after they were reunited.
McFadden and Dr Sidwell had previously posed for pictures in a magazine after she gave birth to their daughter. The Albert Square star — who had his son with childhood sweetheart Sue Marshall and has two other daughters with former girlfriend Angela Bostock — said at the time: "This is a very exciting time for me."
A Met spokesman said: "We can confirm police were called to a disturbance at Highgate at 9pm on Thursday.
"A woman in her early forties was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after attending a station the following day. Inquiries continue."
