Ratings boost: Max and Stacey's affair brought millions of extra viewers to EastEnders

Max's torrid adultery was exposed in an episode on Christmas Day, attracting 14 million viewers.

The couple's relationship becomes increasingly tense as the bitter battle over custody of children Abi, Lauren and baby Oscar continues to escalate.

Joyner, 29, said: "Tanya is worried Max could take the kids. He's capable of being nasty to get what he wants. He disgusts Tanya, she doesn't want him back - and feels he is out to hurt her because of that."
