Easy wider: Jonathan Ross takes his 'trike' for a spin

When the BBC's paying you £18million, you can pretty much afford any form of transport you fancy.

The £3,999 scooter looks like a reverse trike, with two wheels at the front and one at the back.

The arrangement makes it easy to balance and the rider doesn't have to put their foot on the ground while waiting at traffic lights - so the nattily-dressed Ross could glide home across London without scuffing his shoes.
