Electric hue: Victoria goes back to brunette for a retro-Spice look

Dressed to impress in a tight-fitting electric blue dress - Victoria Beckham showcased her new retro-Spice brunette look after ditching her bleached-blonde locks.

Victoria has returned to the look she wore when she first became famous, but now updated with the sleek, chin-length 'Pob' - Posh bob - hairstyle created for her.

Colour coded: Posh has transformed her bleached-blonde Pob into a sleek brunette version

Victoria was seen for the first time since she was spotted emerging from a salon following the transformation from her much-copied blonde Pob, into the sleek new look.

She looked the image of her girl group alter ego at the time of the release of their 1996 debut ,and No1 single, Wannabe.

The self-styled fashion guru has adopted the makeover in preparation for the reformed group's world tour.

Blue belle: Posh chose a bold electric blue dress to offset her demure brunette look

The girls are in the midst of intense preparations for their highly anticipated comeback tour starting on December 2 in Vancouver. And both Mel C and Baby Spice arriving in LA earlier this week to begin rehearsals with Posh and Mel B, who are already based there.

They are also understood to be planning new versions of their famous Spice Girls outfits for certain numbers, including Geri Halliwell's tiny Union Flag dress.

But one area where Victoria won't be unduly stressed will be in the singing department.

Then: The Spice Girls in their heyday

According to a report in the Daily Star, Victoria has been given just four lines to sing on the Spice Girls' comeback track.

Posh's solo spot in 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' lasts for just fifteen seconds, and she has to share one of those lines with Mel B.

Emma Bunton, who wrote the song with Geri Halliwell, sings a whole verse at the beginning of the track. Halliwell and Mel C also feature heavily.

However, a spokesman for the band insisted: "The verses have all been shared out equally among the five members and they all sing together on the chorus."

Picking pumpkins: Victoria and Romeo spend some time at celeb haunt The Pumpkin Patch

Victoria recently returned home in Los Angeles following filming for the video to the group's new single, Headlines, at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.

And in preparation for Hallowe'en, she went to new celeb haunt The Pumpkin Patch with son Romeo for a fun afternoon picking out pumpkins.
