Eminem's a shady visitor at Jonathan Ross's pad

One is a foul-mouthed rap behemoth, the other is a foul-mouthed broadcaster who has just served a ban for being offensive. What do they both have in common? They're both comic book geeks. That explains what Eminem was doing visiting Jonathan Ross's north London home late last night.

See ya later: Eminem leaves Wossy's pad

Far from coming up with a fiendish scheme to offend everyone on the planet, the pair were simply musing over their mutual love of "graphic novels" (a nerd's way of saying they read comics).

Present: a minder carries the comic book gift

Wossy, who was wecently wapped over the knuckles for the Sachsgate scandal, even gave his new chum a rare comic from 1964 worth £150.

Eminem, 36, met the TV presenter while filming Friday Night With Jonathan Ross yesterday. The pair hit it off and headed back to Jonathan's place afterwards. Ross said: "Had great fun with the guests and Eminem came back to mine to look at comics.

I have an awful lot of comics. I gave him Avengers#3 from my own collection. I knew he needed it. He's a big Marvel fan. We buy from the same comic book dealer in the States."

Jonathan revealed he even plans to head to a comic convention in San Diego with his new BFF later this year.

His son, Harvey was particularly chuffed by their late-night guest.

Jonathan added: "My son is a huge fan so was very pleased. He is a good kid."
