Emma Watson leaves Harry Potter behind for some clowning round by the lake

Harry Potter and magic potions appear to be the last thing on her mind as Emma Watson clowns around by a lake for her latest role.
Discarding the school uniform (and even footwear), the 17-year-old, clad in a summer dress and sporting a Red Indian hairband, larked about with her female co-star for the BBC drama Ballet Shoes.
Her free-spirited demeanour is a world away from Harry Potter - the film series based on JK Rowling's novels which propelled Emma on to the world stage and helped her accrue a personal fortune of £10 million.

However Emma hasn't completely left behind playing Hermoine Granger and life at Hogwarts.
Later this month she'll be joining Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint to begin filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - the penultimate film in the widely-successful series.
Before then though, she is clearly relishing playing the part of the orphaned Pauline Fossil in the BBC adaptation of Noel Streatfield's novel.

"I think the books are really special and could not let such an amazing project go. I loved Pauline from the start," Emma said on her website.
Emma was so determined to land the lead she took ballet shoes and dyed her hair white blonde for the role.
The feature-length film, set in 1930s London, tells the story of Pauline and her two sisters, who are adopted by an eccentric explorer.
As if being an A-list movie star wasn't enough, the erudite Emma is also in the middle of studying her A-levels and harbours ambitions to study at Oxford University.
