Fergie: Is her £2m Weight Watchers deal over now she's piled on the pounds?

As an ambassador for Weight Watchers for 11 years, the Duchess of York has become synonymous with the slimming organisation which pays her a nicely rounded £2million a year.

But the hugely successful partnership is set to change with the 47-year-old Duchess scaling back her commitments next year.

Fergie, who has piled on the pounds again since she slimmed down from nearly 15 stone, is bringing out a book with Weight Watchers next month.

Fergie: The £2m-a-year Weight Watchers spokeswoman may be cutting back committments because she has piled on the pounds

But she will be cutting back her schedule after the promotional book tour - triggering rumours that the partnership could be coming to an end.

"The Duchess will be scaling back," says a source.

"She works about 25 days a year for Weight Watchers and, because of a number of projects in the pipeline, she wants to cut down on her other work commitments."

Let's hope the distancing of the long partnership has nothing to do with Fergie having enjoyed too many mince pies.
