Fergie’s new career as a Vogue model

Sarah Ferguson has already posed for Harper's Bazaar brandishing a riding crop in high heels and fishnets so it is no surprise to see her making friends with members of the New York Police Department for a photoshoot in the Big Apple for Italian Vogue.

The shoot is part of a series on the world's iconic women.

But what has Fergie got to hide?

Judging by the way she was clutching an unflattering grey wrap-around coat as she clambers out of a 1965 Silver Cloud III Rolls Royce, she may well be wearing something more stylish underneath.

Sarah Ferguson has also given a revealing More4 TV interview to Pamela Stephenson in which she says she was left alone and unsupported at Buckingham Palace when her husband Prince Andrew was abroad on Navy duty.

She added she only saw her husband 40 days a year in the first five years of their marriage and that it was very "frightening" following a star like Princess Diana.
